# Dzherelo project space
June 24, at C.Rockefeller Center for the Contemporary Arts Dresden

screening, performance, talks by Kvirtet collective + Dana Kosmina

Main focus of Dzherelo is to showcase contemporary video-art & performance & experimental music open to the public 24/7. During the dark times when Kyiv space could not take a risk to host the public due to massive Russian attacks – The Source starts to look for safe spaces for free expression and raise awareness of cultural exchange.
Nomadic Source arrives on 24.06.2023 at C. Rockefeller Center for the Arts with the special program. You will have a unique chance to discover Ukrainian queer multimedia-artist Plisetskiy and a performative collective Kvirtet.

The program will begin with Vladyslav Plisetskiy film screening and online discussion with Dana Kosmina. The film will infect the viewer with the spirit of resilience and give strength to survive by showcasing voices of Kyiv underground resistance from the streets, artist studios till the night clubs – »What You will do when the War starts?« The continuation of the evening by Kvirtet collective will envelop you in a total visual-audio performance. Dramaturgie builds on a unique poem written by Boji in 2023, describing her childhood hallucination (of giant roll twists), combined with the collective members’ vivid dreams, which slowly grow in a unified joint queer-mare – »One by one«.

Construction VIII festival
»Construction« is a festival of new media and audiovisual art in the urban space. The project turns to the real and visible image of Dnipro city, opens a new look at the peculiarities of the city and devotes attention to the joint: space, responsibility, history and the future. The festival combines the themes of socio-cultural development and urban development, aiming to impart dialogue on the creative needs of people living in a post industrial city.

In 2023, the festival is planned to be held in Dnipro, Dresden and Glasgow, thus supporting the communities in Dnipro, while at the same time spreading Ukrainian culture abroad and providing an opportunity for Ukrainian artists and sound artists to bring their work to a wider audience.
